Ok I understand your confusion as it has faced others. First, you have to think of PayPal as a bank. You can join PayPal in a lot of
places but you can also use them as a teller to process your Credit/Debit cards. You do NOT have to join PayPal to do this. They do
require that you provide them with information about yourself and your Credit/Debit card to handle your donation.
These are the steps you need to follow.
1.) Go to our donation page here: https://www.osgrid.org/donate.php.
2.) Go down to where it says One-Time Donations ANY AMOUNT and click on the Donate button.
Remember that PayPal is like any merchant they will process your Credit/Debit card only, you do not need to join PayPal.
3.) Where you see the large $0 in the small window put your cursor there and type in the amount in dollars you wish to donate. Such as
5 or 10 or 20 etc.
4.) Do not check where it says "Make this a monthly donation." Unless you want to make a monthly donation automatically.
5.) DO NOT CLICK ON "Donate with Paypay" Do click on the "Donate with Debit or Credit Card" button.
6.) Then fill out all the information that is required to process your card.
7.) Finally when you are done DO NOT CLICK on the box that says "Save this information for next time". That way your information will
not be saved and you will not join PayPal.
Now the reason we use PayPal is that it is used mainly on the Internet. And they handle all the Security measures for us that need to
be handled properly. They also handle international transactions and conversion from one monetary currency to another.
