Board of Directors Meeting on November 15th, 2015

Minutes of the Board Meeting for OSgrid, Inc. November 15th, 2015

A meeting of the Board of Directors for Osgrid, Inc was held on November 15th, 2015 on OSgrid in world at Bade Plaza. Present were Albertlr Landar, Dan Banner, and Hiro Protagonist.

The meeting was called to order. The Minutes of the previous meeting held June 21st, 2015 was approved and adopted by consensus.

It was decided to schedule the Annual Membership Meeting for 2015 on Sunday December 13th, 2015 at 11 am grid time to be held at Event Plaza. It was also discussed that it might be a good time to discuss the Avination Merge with anyone that might have questions about it.

Albertlr mentioned that since OSgrid, Inc. was now an official Non-Profit with the IRS that he would go a head and register with some of the Non-Profit Centers on the Internet, and look into what might be available for support of the organization in the areas of software or hardware. He also mentioned that he had filed the papers to make the organization an official non-profit in the state of taxes also. He also sent an email to Paypal requesting them to set up the organization as a 501(c)3 organization so it would qualify for a discounted fee.

Dan proposed setting up a special project which would take advantage of OSgrid's tax deductible status. It was agreed by all to look into this possible project. A discussion followed on possible contributors for support of OSgrid, Inc.

The Annual Opensim Community Conference for 2015 was discussed. Dan volunteered to donate a booth on behalf of OSgrid for the Conference. It was discussed to try to provide a display to represent OSgrid at the conference. As the sponsorship was rather high this year, and the treasury was a little low this time of year, it was felt this would be the best that OSgrid, Inc. could do this year. Albertlr said he would try to attend the conference too.

Albertlr mentioned that a fundraiser to help OSgrid, Inc. with both its treasury and possible future projects could be conducted like public radio does. To try to get local grid residents to help with this effort, and maybe others that run their own independent grids.

It was proposed to call another meeting of the Board of Directors on Sunday November 22, 2015 at 11 am grid time to go over any updates on things. This was agreed to by all.

As there was no other business the meeting of the board was adjourned by consensus.
