Minutes of the Board Meeting for OSgrid, Inc. March 2nd, 2017

A meeting of the Board of Directors for Osgrid, Inc was held on March 2nd, 2017 on OSgrid in world at Bade Plaza. Present were Dan Banner, Albertlr Landar, Jim Jackson, and Sarah Kline.

The meeting was called to order. The Minutes of the previous meeting held November 27th, 2016 were approved and adopted by consensus.

It was mentioned that Hiro would most likely be unable to attend this meeting.

It was agreed that all current board member positions would continue for the coming 2017 year. These positions are: Dan Banner - President, Sarah Kline - Vice President, albertlr Landar - Treasurer, Jim Jackson - Secretary, and Hiro Protaganis - Board member. This was approved by consensus.

Paela Argus was invited to attend the meeting and talk to the board about the new changes that had been and will be made to the Osgrid Web Site. She had offered to donate an experimental sever for the use of OSgrid to try new hardware that was being offered by ovh, a hosting company available in Europe, Canada and the US. The board thanked paela for her hard work on the website and the improvements she has made for OSgrid.

It was then brought up that OSgrid had received its first donation from the AmazonSmile program, in which Amazon will donate a percentage of peoples purchases to OSgrid, as long as they designate OSgrid to receive these donations. The total for the first quarter was around $38. We can expect additional donations each quarter going forward.

As part of the web site improvements it was brought up that https was now implemented on the website, and this would make peoples sign ins much more secure going forward.

Additional discussions continued concerning future changes to the web site, the servers and the up coming 10th Birthday in July. It was decided by census to set the weekend of July 29th, 2017 for the 10th Birthday Celebrations. In relation to this the Board also agreed to hold a meeting of the Membership for Sunday May 28th, 2017 at 11 am grid time at Event Plaza.

A motion was made to hold the next Board Meeting on May 14th, 2017 to discuss in greater detail several proposals that had been brought up during the meeting.

As there was no other business the meeting of the board was adjourned by consensus.
