Board of Directors Meeting of February 11th, 2024

Location : Hurliman Plaza, Osgrid Attendees : Dan Banner, Foxx Bode, Albertlr Landar, Neovo Geesink. Sarah Kline, Wizard Atazoth

A motion was made to begin and the meeting was opened by approving the Minutes of the previous meeting. They were sent via email, and once approved, posted to wiki. As for this year’s event planning; Valentines is held on the 14th, and OSgrid’s “Cornflakes week” celebrations will be held on 28 & 29 February on Event Plaza. Osgrid’s 17th Birthday will be celebrated in the last week ( 22-29) of July. The Osgrid fundraisers will be scheduled at sept 23-29th.

General feedback regarding the migrations and the new LBSA were well received and positive overall.

Albert provided Financials: Current PayPal balance on Feb 1st is $3.667, and current Bank balance is $8,000 for a total of $11,667 Our final balance is slightly lower than previous month due to the migration. There are idea’s to put a part of OSgrid funds in an interest/savings account. This option will be explored.

As the old Zeus master server is no longer required for current operations or backup purposes it will be terminated. The new server is slightly more expensive than the previous one. This is justified, as the performance difference is unparallel.

As for the vote to select the board positions for next terms in 2024, these positions will remain unchanged. Paela Argus was proposed to take seat in the board. Voting was unanimous and Paela will take seat as Osgrid Board Member in our next meeting.

The next board meeting is on Sunday May 12th, at Hurliman Plaza. Meeting was adjourned.
