Board of Directors Meeting of May 12th, 2024

Location : Hurliman Plaza, Osgrid

Attendees : Dan Banner, Foxx Bode, Neovo Geesink. Paela Argus, Sarah Kline.

A motion was made to begin and the meeting was opened by approving the Minutes of the previous meeting. They were sent via email, and posted to wiki as they contain the themes for the planned events. Dan opens the meeting. We welcome Paela as new member to the board.

As the treasurer is absent, the grid president opens with Financials. In the active paypal account we currently have : US S1823.50. As discussed in the previous meeting, the OSgrid Treasurer has been applying to participate to invest USD 5000,- of our current bank savings into Truist Money Market. A vote was passed to allow using OSgrid funds for this purpose.

The Osgrid fundraisers are scheduled at sept 23-29th. This year’s theme for the fundraiser is “Technology”.

The OSG17b theme will be “Music”. It’s held on Juli 22-28. Osgrid’s display regions will be started up for the festivities and announced on OSgrids news / frontpage.

The next board meeting will be held on Sunday Sept 1st at 11am, Hurliman Plaza Osgrid.
