[11:10 AM] albertlr Landar: Thank you everyone who has come to this meeting today. Your support of OSgrid with subscriptions and and donations and your presence here is what keeps us going.
[11:11 AM] albertlr Landar: Despite the disruption of having to reset our OSgrid Assets, you have continued to support OSgrid and its operation and this is critical to our continuing operations.
[11:11 AM] albertlr Landar: For several months last year and several months this year our subscriptions and donations have fallen short of covering our monthly expenses.
[11:11 AM] albertlr Landar: But I am pleased to say however that it has improved since last year in spite of our having to take the Grid off line for Maintenance and the Asset reset.
[11:12 AM] albertlr Landar: For the month of November we actually had a surplus of $84. Which is not a lot but it's at least positive for a change. The majority of our subscribers still subscribe at $5 month, but we have been able to convince some to increase their subscriptions to $10 or more per month which has helped.

[11:12 AM] albertlr Landar: If we can get at lease 20 more users to increase that amount by $5 more a month to $10, then going forward we should be in very good shape again.
[11:12 AM] albertlr Landar: You would spend more getting a cup of coffee today. So please during the season of giving consider helping OSgrid to keep growing.
[11:13 AM] albertlr Landar: Now our total funds in our bank account are $6,452 which is a decrease of $607 from last year. This is because of the months where we had shortages in subscriptions and donations and increased expenses during the year.
[11:13 AM] albertlr Landar: But I am pleased to say that we have some increases in subscriptions since we started our subscription campaign, and Dan has been able to reduce our monthly expenses by negotiating with OVH our server providers.
[11:13 AM] albertlr Landar: Currently our balance in PayPal is $3,275 at the beginning of December 2025. That gives a grand total of all sources of $9,727.
[11:14 AM] albertlr Landar: That represents a decrease in our accounts from last year, as 2024 was $11,500 and this year 2025 was $9,727. So a decrease of $1,773.
[11:14 AM] albertlr Landar: The decrease was from a reduction in our subscriptions and extra expenses during the year, and we hope with your support to improve that going into 2026.
[11:14 AM] albertlr Landar: Now about our fundraiser, we once more exceeded our goal of $2,000 with your support of donations and the auctions. Our final total was $2,465 which was $334 more than last years total.
[11:15 AM] Light Ray: Can you explain the reduction of the subscriptions?
[11:15 AM] albertlr Landar: And included in that total is $219 which was donated in lindens over on Second Life. That was an decrease of $18 from last year, which is still pretty good, so thanks again to all who donated their lindens to OSgrid.
[11:15 AM] Light Ray: Is it due people moved to other grids due the great reset?
[11:15 AM] albertlr Landar: And I want to remind you that you can donate lindens to OSgrid on SL all year long.
[11:16 AM] albertlr Landar: Just go the Embassy there, a sign out side shows you how.
[11:16 AM] albertlr Landar: I want to personally thank all our administrators for their hard volunteer work they do for the grid, but especially mention Wizard and Paela for their continuing support of the grid and its users, for Sarah's support of Wright Plaza and the Homesteads, Aussie for keeping Event Plaza rocking every week and Paela for keeping our website up and running.
[11:16 AM] albertlr Landar: Paela has reworked the front end to the next generation, and phased out older code. This comes with a new layout and web design too. We now have a functional marketplace, a destinations guide, integrated event calendar, reworked backend, the works. It’s a departure from the past and upgraded to the latest and greatest. Changes have been updated to the Osgrid news page, which got a dark mode to match the Osgrid main site.
