Board of Directors Meeting September 6th 2026

A motion was made to begin and the meeting was opened by Dan.

As our assets outgrow our budget with dedicated servers, we have little other choice than to move to a cloud solution as well. Umber has added a S3 compatible module that allows us to use idrive E2 cloud assets, without significant downtime. We will be starting migrating data in the background. Dan will initiate the Idrive account, and requested treasurer to link up the financials for it. Sumup and zeffy details have been distributed appropiriately.

Treasurer will start a mail campaign about donating via zeffy, as that’s a lot cheaper than paypal, who soup up a significant part of your donations. We were only short $148 in having enough funds in Paypal to cover all expenses in August. The Paypal balance is $2,855.11 and our Truist bank balance is $5,389.22

We will inform users of the upcoming changes & fees in the next community meeting. We will notify the community this meeting is upcoming per the 27th od September.

 Main Agenda 2026:
 •	The annual fundraiser is moved to mid October. 
 •	The next OSGrid Community meeting will be held on the 27th of September 2026 at Hurliman plaza. 11.00 grid time.
 •	The next OSGrid Board meeting will be held on the 04th of Octoberr 2026 at Hurliman plaza. 11.00 grid time.
