Board of Directors Meeting of August 24th, 2025

Board Meting Sunday August, 24th 2025

Location :Hurliman Plaza, Osgrid Attendees :Dan Banner, Albertlr Landar, Paela Argus, Foxx Bode, Wizard Atazoth.

A motion was made to begin and the meeting was opened by approving the Minutes of the previous meeting. They were sent via email, and posted to wiki. Neovo Geesink has ceased all active duties as board member and administrator, due to personal reasons. We thank him for his support and services to Osgrid Inc. and it’s community.

Our current balances with an estimate to the end of August is $7,863.11. That breaks down to $4,672.11 in our Truist Bank, and $3,191.00 at Paypal. Because our balance had dropped below $5,000 in Truist, we are being changed now a $10 fee per month, which eats up any interest. But with the upcoming fundraiser we should have some funds to deposit and raise the balance up over $5,000, which should resolve that problem. Last month we received $675 in Subscriptions, and $275 in Donations. This month we received $722 in Subscriptions, and $60 in Donations. So we have seen an improvement in Subscriptions. For the fundraiser we will add another thermometer for subscriptions, and the option to donate an Osgrid subscription to the auctions. Ex-subscribers on paypal will be notified of the pending deletion of their donator status, and requested to rejoin. Goals for the fundraiser are set to $500 for subscriptions, and $2,000 for fundraiser. Osgrid will hold the fundraiser Auctions on Sept 21-28.

Paela is reworking the frontend to the next generation, and phase out older code. This comes with a new layout and webdesign too. It’s under development.

The next board meeting is on Sunday 12th of October at Hurliman Plaza. An OSGrid public membership meeting will be held on the 14th of December.
