Board of Directors Meeting of February 9th, 2025

Board Meeting Sunday Feb 9th 2025

Location : Hurliman Plaza, Osgrid

Attendees : Dan Banner, Albertlr Landar, Paela Argus, Wizard Atazoth, Foxx Bode, Sarah Kline.

A motion was made to begin and the meeting was opened by approving the Minutes of the previous meeting. They were sent via email, and posted to wiki. The board will remain in it's current form and positions. Albert provided Financials: Our balance in Paypal for February 1st was $4,440.26. Our balance in our Truist Checking on February 1st was $1,000.08. Our balance in our Truist Money Market on February 1st was $6,059.48. Thus we have earned $59.48 so far in interest. This is a surplus of 140.43 for the month January. That gives us a total of $11,499.82 in assets.

As per unanimous vote of the board, we have decided to do an asset reset. It’s the only feasible way forward for Osgrid. This is planned for the 21st march. Announcements will be made on the viewer splash screens, webpage, blog/newspage, wiki, twitter/x, mewe, and facebook. This will not impact friends or groups. We only will reset inventory, and start fresh. We suggest you start making backups of your regions, and any inventory you wish to preserve for when you login with a fresh inventory. We plan to do this on the 21st of march, and we will bring the grid down for this for at least one week. Until that day, registrations will be closed.

For those disappointed they don't find the 'full content & considerations' of all discussions and debates that preceded this meeting, and that made us come to above decisions, it doesn't fit on this page. So sticking to the conclusion, the board vote was unanimous. The future of the OSgrid was at stake, and this was the less worse and only feasible choice in the long run.

The next board meeting is on Sunday May 25th, at Hurliman Plaza. Meeting was adjourned.
