Board of Directors Meeting of May 9th, 2021

Board Meeting Sunday May 9th 2021 Location : Hurliman Plaza, Osgrid Attendees : Dan Banner, AlbertLR Landar, Sarah Kline, Wizard Atazoth, Foxx Bode.

A motion was made to begin and the meeting was called to order by Wizard. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved and adopted. Dan Banner announced that we switched to the new asset server some weeks ago, and that part of the migration was successful. Data is still being copied, but the migration can be called successful. Osgrid is already running on the new data cluster. Copying takes longer than expected, and until it is done, this means we have much overhead costs.

Before the Osgrid Birthday, a Meeting of the Membership will be scheduled. A motion was passed to organize this at the in week 22, on Sunday the 6th of June.

Osgrid’s birthday is coming. A motion was passed to hold the Birthday events in week 29, being the 19th t/m 25th of July. A motion to hold the Annual Fundraiser this year was approved. This is planned to be held in September 2021, the set date is week 38, September 20th-26th The chosen theme this year is Steampunk. Albert gave an update on OSgrid’s financial status. Balance took a hit due to the asset transfer, but the current financial position is stable. Once the asset-project is complete, costs per month will go down significantly.

Dan & Albert have worked on the destination guide, fixed URL glitches, and are updating it with all Plaza’s. Albert suggests to let more people know this exists, and promote it at the Membership Meeting. Albert will submit last years Osgrid financial reports to IRS and state of Texas next week. A motion was passed to hold the next Board meeting. at Sunday 20th of June at 11.00 AM Hurliman plaza. Meeting was adjourned.
